Cheese Cake Tarts

Ingredients
  • 1 package tart shells
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup whipping cream OR 1 small tub cool whip
Instructions

    Bake tart shells according to package. Let cool.

    In large bowl, beat cream cheese and icing sugar together till smooth. Add vanilla and mix again.

    In separate bowl beat whipping cream till stiff peaks (use a whip cream stabilizer)

    Fold whipping cream (or cool whip) into cheese mixture.

    Add to shells.

    Cover with choice of toppings. Refrigerate.

    ** If using a runny topping such as freezer jam leave an indent in the cheesecake mixture to hold the jam so it doesn’t run off.
